2023 Bike to School Day Poster Contest

Pedaling a bicycle can create some of childhood’s happiest moments. This year for Bike to School Day, Minnesota Safe Routes to School is holding our sixth annual Bike to School Day Poster Contest. Sponsored by the Minnesota Safe Routes to School and Quality Bicycle Products (QBP) the Poster Contest asks participants to design an 8.5 x 11 poster (download the poster contest guidelines PDF) that shows how they feel when they ride a bicycle.

Teachers interested in the poster contest can download lesson plans to support instruction for their classrooms (K-3 lesson plan PDF or 4th-8th lesson plan PDF).

Contest entries must be submitted by the end of the day May 5th, 2023.

Second and Third place posters will receive a bicycle related prize pack including a helmet, Camelbak backpack, bell, lock, and water bottle from Quality Bicycle Products. Our First place winners will receive the bicycle related prize pack for themselves and a new bike rack to safely secure bikes at their school.

2022 Bike to School Day Poster Contest Winners Announced!

Pedaling a bicycle can create some of childhood’s happiest moments and we love to see what students in Minnesota feel when riding a bicycle with our seventh annual Bike to School Day Poster Contest. This year’s winners, from St. Michael and Field Elementary in Minneapolis will be receiving their own bike themed prize packs care of Quality Bicycle Products that include a camelbak, helmet, lock, bell and multi-tool.

There were so many great posters to choose from, with a wide array of positive and hilarious messages….and the 2022 Bike to School Day Poster Contest winners are:

K-3rd Category
